Where: University of Denver, Denver Colorado. Students will experience living on a college campus at a top-rated school.
Why: To learn, have fun, and explore game development as a possible career.
The Faculty: All three lead instructors are University of Denver faculty. Assistants are local area high school teachers and University of Denver graduate and undergraduate students.
The Resources: Classes taught in the Shwayder School of Art Studios.
How much: The 2008 camp is 100% free to accepted women thanks to a generous grant from the National Science Foundation. Cost for the camp would be about $1500 per student without this grant.
Scholarships: The National Science Foundation has provided generous support to encourage female, minority, and economically- challenged populations.
